They operate paper examinations in 9 cities across the island. These are Colombo, Nugegoda, Kandy, Kurunegala, Negombo, Gampaha,Batticaloa and Jaffna. They also operate computer tests in Colombo, Malabe, Negombo and Kandy cities. 

Sessions in the morning typically operate from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm. The typical time range for afternoon sessions is from 1 pm to 4:30 pm. They have an evening session from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on certain days. If you take the IELTS on paper, your Speaking test will occur seven days before or after the main test day, on a different day from the other exam sections. Forty-eight hours before your Speaking test, you’ll get a confirmation email.
