This agreement (“Agreement”) sets forth the terms and conditions (“Terms”) between EReader (“EReader”, “we”, “us”) and the user (“you”). By accessing the EReader mobile application (“App”) and its services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
- User Eligibility and Account Responsibilities
Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years of age to register for an account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this criterion.
Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login information. Any activity occurring under your account is your responsibility. If unauthorized access occurs, you must notify us immediately.
Suspension and Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for breaches of these Terms. Once terminated, the account cannot be reinstated or re-registered.
- Ownership of Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights related to the App and its content are owned by EReader or its licensors. Reproduction, distribution, or any misuse of content is strictly prohibited unless expressly permitted by us.
- Pricing, Payments, and Refund Policy
Charges: Fees for products, services, or subscriptions are set according to the applicable rates and are non-refundable.
Price Adjustments: We retain the right to modify pricing for any products or services at our discretion.
- Service Availability
We aim to provide uninterrupted access to the App but may experience occasional downtime for maintenance or unforeseen issues. You are responsible for maintaining your own data backups.
- Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use the App for illegal or prohibited purposes, including but not limited to:
Violating copyright or intellectual property rights
Engaging in hacking, malware, or phishing activities
Spreading false information or harassing others
Any breach may result in legal action.- Content Accuracy and Corrections
While we strive to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information within the App is error-free. We reserve the right to correct or update any inaccuracies.
- External Services and Links
If you interact with third-party services through our App, you are subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or services, including security and data practices.
- User Liability and Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold EReader harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
- Advertisements and Third-Party Promotions
The App may display advertisements and promotions. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and them, and we do not assume responsibility for any resulting disputes or issues.
- User Data and Backup
We are not liable for the loss of your data. You are encouraged to back up your personal data regularly. In some cases, we may assist in recovering lost data, but no guarantee is provided.
- Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any disputes will be handled by the courts in Colombo. By accepting these Terms, you waive the right to a jury trial in any legal proceedings.
- Updates to Terms
We may amend these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App following any updates implies your acceptance of the revised Agreement.
- Acceptance of Terms and Termination of Use
By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept them, you must discontinue use of the App immediately.
